About Me:
Dr. Marissa Sendowsky PT, DPT
Hi, I’m Dr. Marissa Sendowsky, a pediatric physical therapist with over 15 years of experience helping children reach their full potential. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Fullerton, with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
I specialize in working with children facing a variety of challenges, including complex medical needs, torticollis, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, neuromuscular disorders, Down Syndrome, and Autism. My goal is to create personalized therapy plans that not only address your child’s specific needs but also empower your family with the tools and support to make progress every day.
I also have extensive knowledge of pediatric equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, standers, and custom bracing, and I’m passionate about ensuring children have everything they need to succeed in their daily lives.
As a mother of two, I understand how important it is to find care that is both effective and compassionate. When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking, baking, cooking, and spending quality time with my family.
I look forward to partnering with you to help your child achieve their milestones and build confidence in their abilities.
